“Welcome back, kiddies,” howled Victor. “Dr. Toothspark has
missed you all. Well, enough of your rotten mummies and deadies have
called the
studio and this will be my final show. I guess it is too scary for some
of
them! So my final story will be a good one. This one took place at the
Shadow
Hills Cemetery on Washout Drive. This time our brave soul may not be so
lucky,”
Then Victor laughed his maniacal laugh hehahHAHAHAHAHA!
It was
a beautiful Friday evening in our little town. Angela and her friends
were hanging out at her
house with little to do.
The teenagers began to talk about local ghost stories and most of them
were for
children and were stupid. Then a girl spoke up and mentioned the name
Madam
Malvado. Everyone looked at her with curiosity because nobody in the
room knew
the story. So the girl told the group the story of Madam Malvado. The
Madam was
a vile woman who despised young girls because of their beauty and
youth. So
she began to kidnap the girls in town and keep them in her basement
under her
house. Then the Madam got the idea that their blood would make her
young again.
So Madam Malvado bathed in the girls' blood. A year after this started,
she was
arrested and tried in court. The judge gave her a death sentence and
she was
hanged. But Madam Malvado told the people before she was executed that
her
grave
site would forever be haunted and she would kill any girls who come by
it.

After the girl told this story, many of the kids were quiet
because none of them had heard
of this
supposed legend. Then one of the girls said, “I dare someone to go to
her grave
tonight and stay there until morning.” Nobody accepted her dare, so
they
decided to draw straws. All the teens drew straws and lo and behold
Angela’s
was the shortest. So with a deep breath she started off to the Shadow
Hills
Cemetery. Nobody was brave enough to go with her on this daring journey. Angela walked for a half an hour to the
cemetery. Angela arrived at the cemetery gates; she drew a deep breath,
and
then
pushed open the large rusty gate and stepped into the cemetery. It took
her
a few minutes
to find the grave site where Madam Malvado was buried. When she did
find it, the tombstone was eerie.
It was a
large life-sized statue of Madam Malvado. Angela sat at the base of
the statue
and waited until morning.
Well, the next morning came and
Angela’s
friends all
went to the cemetery to find her. When the group arrived at the grave
site, they
were struck with sheer horror. Angela was lying in the statue's arms.
Angela’s
face
looked like she had seen absolute horror before she died. On her neck
there
were two small hand marks where she had been strangled. One of her
friends ran
to a nearby house and called the police. When the police arrived and
surveyed
the scene, they could not find a single clue. Her friends asked what
the
police
knew and they told them nothing, not even a suspect. One officer said
with some
apprehension in his voice, “I don’t know what is happening in the town:
first
killer clowns and cult members, and now kids being killed for no
reason.”
He then
walked away from the teens, leaving them in disbelief.

“So, kiddies, beware if you go to visit grandma and grandpa where they sleep because they may come back. Tell your mummies and deadies that Dr.Victor says hello.” Victor then cackled his usual laugh and then was off the air.
Author's Note
My story came from the urban legend of Black
Agnes. This is
commonly told with someone going to a grave site on a dare. That person
usually
ends up dead killed by a strange supernatural force. The ghost is a
woman who
died of a broken heart. The person being killed is related to the man
who broke
the dead girl’s heart, so her revenge is the death of their relative.
My story
is somewhat like this except for the fact my character is killed as a
victim of
circumstance rather than revenge. Another way this is told is that
someone
sticks a knife in the grave but somehow pins their clothing to it. So
the
person thinks the ghost has them with really it is just the knife. Also
I based
my character Madam Malvado on a real-life serial killer. I based her on
Countess
Elizabeth Báthory A.K.A. The Blood Countess. She did as I
described in the
story. The Countess would bathe in the blood of imprisoned young women
whom
were virgins. The reason for this was because it would make her
younger. So I
used a real figure in an urban legend to make it seem a bit real.
