American Studies Department at the University of Oklahoma. This was my major field
of study for my Bachelor's degree.

Woody Guthrie Folk Festival The Woody Guthrie
Folk Festival is held annually every July around Woody Guthrie's
birthday (July 14th) in Okemah, OK. It is a wonderful place to be, full of great
music and friends and it's all in the spirit of Woody. The campground here is the best ever!

Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival Last year
I went to the OIBF for the first time and actually performed as
part of the Bluegrass Bedlam. This is another great place for jamming all night long
and listening to some great music. However, there are just a few too many OSU fans for my taste.
