A: Um, I thought it'd be easier than a bio.

A: I'm Thom Beck, couldn't you tell by the front page? And I don't know why you should be here. I just make websites when I'm bored.

Q: On your VOX, you're known as theMAJOR. Where did that name come from?
A: David Bowie. Mostly. A little bit of Nextwave too.

Q: I see that you've read a lot of books, don't you have any friends?
A: Actually those are only the books that I have read AND own. So to answer your question, no.

Q: You read comics too? Damn, you're a loser.
A: Hey comics are pretty awesome, have you ever read them?

Q: No, I'm not friendless twelve-year-old. What's your favorite comic?
A: I would have to say Nextwave. But, I seem to like anything by Warren Ellis and Mark Millar.

A: You mean like books, movies, TV shows, etc.? No, not really.

Q: What are you currently reading?
A: That's more a question for my VOX. I'll try to keep that updated with things like that.

Q: What's this postmodern design theory I keep hearing you reference?
A: To put it as simply as possible: there are no original ideas.

Q: Forget I asked. But, you're a designer?
A: Yeah, I'm studying advertising. I thought I wanted to be an art director, but recently I've felt the pull of copywriting. My portfolio, awards, and such is at Excelsior Designs.
