Lessons Learned

Welcome | Feather | Magic | Pride | Fusion | Purity | Lessons Learned...

The unicorn stayed with the girl for quite some time as we all admired his beauty.  He touched only her and didn't try to leave her side until she was ready.  When she got up from the stump she had been sitting on, he turned and left as quietly as he had come.  We followed our guide out the door that we had entered.  When we emerged on the other side, we were back in the lobby of the museum.  She turned to us and said, "You have each been brought here for different reasons.  Some to enhance the faith that you already possessed and for others it was to bring you faith that you never had.  If each of you have learned something here, we ask that you pass it on.  Find the magic in everyday life - nature is a beautiful thing and it should not be taken for granted.  The next time that you see a feather, think of the Pegasus and Bellerophon's attempt to keep him for himself.  It must be shared by all or it will not live."  With this final comment, the entire museum disappeared and we were all left standing in an empty lot.

As we all left each other, some with hugs and handshakes and some with only short a goodbye, we all had a better understanding of nature and life and the responsibiltiy that goes along with it.  My drive home was the longest I had ever had because  I couldn't stop thinking about all that I had seen.  I vowed to keep all that I had seen, magic, pride, purity, fusion and feathers a part of my heart and life forever.  I would treat my fellow man, woman, animal and plant as I wanted to be treated.  This day-trip was more than I had ever expected.  It taught me how to truly live life.

Author's Notes:
I wanted to sum up my storybook in this conclusion page.  Nature and life are very important to me and I wanted to show that our museum group had learned something from their trip.
