Stephen Carradini was told as a young boy that he was born with eleven
fingers, the eleventh of which was cut off at birth. Having found the
allure of this possibility much more interesting than any potential
truth (barring the absolute truth of the situation as it was recounted
to him, which seems unlikely), Stephen has never attempted to seek the
truth. Thus, it may or may not be true that Stephen was once a mutant.
Stephen finds this unfortunate, as some of his favorite people are
fictional super-powered mutants. He has often felt more camraderie with
Spider-man than the people around him. Only Spider-man knows what it's like to be
forced to live a life he didn't ask for, Stephen has often
thought.
Recently Stephen has realized that it isn't just he who was
forced upon the world; apparently nobody
asks to be born. This seems like a highly illogical system that
is ripe for reform through non-violent protest. However, Stephen does
not want to be the metaphysical equivalent of Gandhi for several
reasons: 1. He is Italian, thus rendering hunger strikes nigh on
impossible. 2. He notes that those guys at the Tower of Babel totally
got owned in a similar situation. 3. He's not sure where he'd send that
petition.
When not mulling over the viability of a spiritual world coup, he runs a music magazine and
reads online comics.
