Author's Notes: Daniel and Toracht

This myth I have done very little to except for changing the point of view from which it was told, naming the dragon, and slightly altering the end.  In the true rendition the dragon does explode when it eats the ball of pitch and in the original it is not told whether or not the dragon raised sheep.  If you would like to read a version of the original myth please go to this site.
