Author's Note: For the beginning of the
story I wanted Auntie Lulu to reassure her followers that the adventure
was worth their while. I also wanted Auntie Lulu to be descriptive
about
the Queen's garden, but not give all of it away so that they could
envision it for themselves. I wanted to express to the readers that
Auntie Lulu is real and to make them feel as though she is really
interacting with them. Next, I have Auntie Lulu and Mr. Rabbit
quarreling to express Mr. Rabbit's anxiety and fear that is building up
about the Queen and her behavior. Auntie Lulu then shows Mr. Rabbit
her gift for the Queen, which seems odd, but it shows foreshadowing.
Then, I decided to cut straight to the game by having Auntie Lulu
interject and interact with the audience, again, to transition to the
end of the game. At first, I was not sure how I wanted the story to
end, but as I continued to write I decided the Queen needed a wake up
call. That is why I have the Queen almost burning to death, but Auntie
Lulu shows mercy on her and saves what's left of herself. By doing
this, Auntie Lulu has changed Wonderland, forever and for the better!
For my stories I decided to keep most of the characters from the
original story, but added my own original adventures to the story to
make it my own.
