Hi. My name is Shannon and I'm 22 years-old.
I'm proud that my parents are from Indian and absolutely love my culture! I'm from good 'ole Lawton, Oklahoma. I know I was more than happy to stretch my legs out of there, and spread my wings out temporarily in Norman. I'm even happier to stretch them further when I graduate from the University of Oklahoma in December with my Bachelor of Psychology. After graduation, I hope to further my career with a Masters in Counseling. I am still looking around at programs that catch my attention so keep your fingers crossed for me. I am currently working on putting together a resume so I hope to have a link posted soon.

I have a romanticized vision of what the future holds, and that vision contains far too much detail for a simple "about-me" introduction. During my time at the University of Oklahoma, I was extremely active within my sorority, Delta Phi Omega, also known as D-Phi-O. Within our organization, we have helped many citizens throughout our community. Our philanthropy is Children's Literacy and we take great pride in any community service that we take part in. I have completed more than 120 hours of community service during my 3 years in Delta Phi Omega.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and being outside when the weather is warm and sunny. When the weather is cold out, I love to occupy myself in the snow. I love to take out my board on a fresh laid coat of white snow.

 

I'd love to have my own family one day but as of right now I'm ready to graduate and see what the future holds.  I prefer to travel and see what others places have to offer. My roommate and I have a fat orange cat named Oil who likes to lay on whatever it is we might be working on whether its homework or just relaxing, I dig music fo sho; and I'm great at daydreaming and sleeping.
