My name is Ashley Renee' Elkin. I am
currently a fifth year senior at
the University of Oklahoma. I am studying sociology wanting to go into
Human Realtions. I have grown up and lived in Norman my whole life. I
come from a family of five. I am the middle child and only girl. I have
an older brother Jason and a younger brother Brandon. I love OU
football and have been going to games since I can remember. I really
enjoy the summer and spending time with my friends. I love it when it
snows! My favorite color is pink. I have a dog named abby, she is a
shitzu, who is very grumpy most of the time. I really enjoy being in
college and am somewhat sad my college days are almost over.
This painting represents the scene in
the Ramayan where Sita proves her
purity and love for Rama. Sita stood in the flames without getting
burned. The fire-god stood at her back and protected her testifying
