We got back to the hotel right at four in the afternoon, and Chris had the idea that he wanted some wine for Saturday, so as soon as the bus stopped we stormed up to our room, made sure we had the keys then headed out to find some wine. We went the wrong way but saw a nice bus station, and with the minutes ticking away before Shabbat, we walked past closing store after closing store and finally came to this one little convenience store-shop that had a bunch of wine. I found a nice 97 Kosher Bordeaux that was quite inexpensive, so I bought two bottles. Looking up behind the clerk, I saw them, that yellow box and red triangle of swords... Heaven? No. Just Monte Cristo #4 Habana cigars, a 5 pack of them. You cannot possibly know what ecstasy it is to set out at 4:30pm on Friday and actually find not only '97 Kosher Bordeaux for an affordable price, but Monte Cristo Cubans as well. This is a picture of me in that ecstasy. Notice the left hand holding a pair of H. Upmann Cubans as well, a good thing I bought them because the #4s were desert-dry when I opened them. No matter. This is the last picture, though the day was far from over. They made various services available that night, and I attended my first Orthodox service (I'm in Jerusalem, if you're going to do it, do it right.) and quite enjoyed it. Just us boys, the women sat in the back. All overt sexism aside, I must admit I noticed how not distracted I was during the service. Then we just chilled, bonded and such. Nothing to do, and it never felt better.
