Danger lurked in the distance, first evidencing itself by a slight static in the distance. Static grew to hiss and hiss to roar as we came up to The Waterfall. I'll be honest: Jessica and Julie freaked out. We saw the wreckage ahead as we neared, two rafts lodged on the falls, women screaming and men looking confused. I personally knew exactly what was going on because I had been there the night before, but I kept that tidbit of information to myself. I figured if we were going to make it we'd need a bit of speed, but J&J weren't too helpful, so I did the best I could and we actually made it over the falls in one pass! It wasn't too bad, just some big rocks, and here's a picture of it, from the other side. We had sat just behind the tree on the right the night before. Some gentlemen discussing something on the right bank got up and followed the girls in the raft on the right, repeating their offer of free alcohol. They didn't know much English, but I don't think they were too worried about it.
