This is me standing next to the table where David Ben Gurion declared the state of Israel in 1948, BEFORE the British actually officially gave up control. The gentleman giving a short speech defined this as "Chutzpah", and I agree. It happened there, and there I am, standing next to it, picture of Theodore Hertzl and all. What an experience.
