Here it is, Main Street Jersusalem, from 2000 years ago. This is at the base of the Western wall, the other side was lined with shops. This street was just recently excavated, after the Israelis gained control in 67, the area just south of the Plaza, where the western wall meets the southern wall. Here I was, in this place that was totally unavailable to people for two millennia. Main Street.
