My one real gripe about the trip had just happened, Marla, our otherwise competent and informative tour guide, chose this most important place to explain the difficulty of dealing with Palestinians, casually mentioning that some important battles had been fought here, then everyone left. I stayed behind to get these pictures, I NEEDED these pictures because I simply did not get enough time to take everything in.
