Behind the ladder on the far end, on the right wall is a little passageway. The first door on the left was a sun-room, where the workers were required to spend time to get tans. "Farmers" on a Kibbutz would have tans, munitions workers in a secret underground did not. Just past that door is the firing range, where they tested the bullets. That's an actual Sten gun, and the two discs rotated at a given rate. They measured the difference between the holes and figured the bullet velocity, and therefore the proper amount of gunpowder. So much was done to get the raw materials in to the country, and I do not do this site justice here. One interesting fact, though, was that there were exactly two stations where the bullets were filled with gunpowder and finished. This was done one at a time, and only by women. Why? Women are more patient. During the entire time, there was not one accident at that station.
