I have listed below different
samples of the work I have completed while in college. These papers
show the quality of work that I have done while attending the
university and also give you an idea of who I am.
PAPER 1
This paper I wrote in order to be admitted to the college of
education. This paper tells you why I want to teach and shows you what
influenced me to teach. It also gives you my goals as a teacher and shows you
how much I enjoy history and kids. It also gives you idea of how I would like
to share history with kids. It shows my passion for history and students alike.
PAPER 2
This paper is about the Gros Ventre Indian tribe. It gives
you a sense of the passion that I have for Native American history and my own
background. I think this paper also gives a sense of the diversity that I bring
to the table. I am very passionate about the history of minorities due to all
that they have overcome. This paper tells you about the Gros Ventre people. It
gives you an idea of who they are and where they came from. It also tells you a
little about their culture and religion.
PAPER 3
This
paper is about the Jewish people and culture. It also
gives you a sense of the passion I have for minority people. This paper
really
shows the diversity that I have for people and history. This paper
talks about the dual identity that jews had to live with. It gives you
a great sense of how scared the jewish people were living in their own
countries. It gives you a look at racism, not based on skin color. I
like this paper because our country is so diverse and sometimes we
forget that we do not all have the same background.
PAPER 4
This paper is an annotated library. It is a piece I put
together in order to help myself when teaching students who have disabilities.
It gives you references to use to help teach these students in your particular
field. This paper is very important to me, because I want to help all kids. I
feel like this paper is very important because it allows me to reach these
students who I may have trouble with. It also gives you a way to incorporate
different things in the classroom, that may make it more fun for the whole
class.
