A do-it-yourself guide to foraging, the Cooking for Free series included The Seashore, Meadows & Hedgerows, and Fungi. Along with the book covers, a promotional poster for the series was required.
My concept for the project was to bring nature into the book covers. Creating patterns that resemble fish scales, leaves, and tree bark paired with soft, soothing colors was the main focus of my concept. I wanted the books to be welcoming and beautiful, and small enough to be carried out into the readers’ foraging experience.
