Hi, my name is Ann Hovda. I am currently a
Junior and recently transferred to OU from Oklahoma City Community
College. My major is Literature (which I love love love!). I have
always enjoyed reading a writing an am very excited about all my
courses this semester. I am enrolled in two of professor Gibbs online
courses: Mythology & Folklore and Indian Epics. So far, they both
look really cool.
I spend a majority of my free time with my family,
boyfriend, best friend and pets. I recently moved out r the first time
ever and am missing my parents terribly. We are a very close-nit group
and they are having trouble adjusting to their only child no longer
living with them. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost five
years now. We met at a national Honor Society Convention in High
School. He is a truly wonderful person. He also attends the University
of Oklahoma and is a Philosophy Ethics and Religion Major. My best
friend since second grade, and now my roommate, is also attending OU.
So far living with her has gone very well.
I have two cats and one dog. My dog will be 15 years
old this January and is still chasing her tail. I rescued both my cats
from the pound on different occasions and they are the best of friends.
Francesca is my lovely gray tabby and Emma is my orange, black and
white long haired beauty. They both a quite sweet and enjoy my company
more than anything else.
