My name is Mary Kaszynski and I'm a junior majoring in history here at
the University of Oklahoma. When I'm not in Norman, I live in one of
the beautiful Twin Cities, St. Paul, MN.
I love reading, both fiction and non-fiction. A couple of the books
that I read recently include Grant And Sherman: The Friendship
That Won The Civil War and Now They Call Me Infidel, by Nonie
Darwish, both of which I really enjoyed. Next up is Betrayal at Pearl Harbor. As you
can tell, I enjoy reading all different kinds of history. As for
fiction, my favorite authors are P.G. Wodehouse, the genius who
inspired authors like Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett, and Vince
Flynn.
I'm a huge baseball fan, and of course my favorite team is the
Minnesota Twins. I like to keep up on baseball news at the Twins
official website. As you can see, we just resigned the 2006 AL MVP
Justin Morneau for another year. yay!
One of the coolest traditions that we have in Minnesota is the annual
Winter Carnival. This year I went to downtown St. Paul to take a look
at the ice sculptures
