Molly is a very devout Christian. She never misses a chance to go to church. She hasn't missed a day in years, but there is a reason for that. Molly believes that she is being visited, almost nightly, by an incubus. Almost four years ago, Molly had had her first encounter with the incubus, after her Sunday service at church. That night, after Molly had said her nightly prayers, she lay down in her bed for the night. As she was almost asleep, she was struck with panic and fear. Molly was being molested in her own bed, but she could not see an attacker there. Molly managed to throw whatever it was off her, but as soon as she laid back down, it started all over again. This happened repeatedly during the night, likely even after Molly had passed out from fear and exhaustion.
Molly believed she was being tormented by the devil, but more specifically she knew that it was an incubus demon. Her church had taught sermons over the incubus and succubus demons. She knew that it was more common for a a demon to come to a woman like her instead of a man, because men are much stronger willed than women. That morning after she said her prayers, she rushed straight into the church to meet with her priest. He had known other women of the church who had fallen prey to the incubus demons, and knew that he could help poor Molly. He told her five different ways in which a person could become free of the demons. The ways to be rid of the demons are by confession, making the sign of the cross or reciting of a prayer, by exorcism to drive away the demon, to move far away, or excommunication of the demon.
Molly was extremely scared, but she had to build up the nerve to try something in order to save herself. She felt as if her life was at stake. She started out slowly with the easiest way to free herself from the incubus. Molly began to go to confession daily, but still every night she was visited by the incubus devil. Then during her attacks she started making the sign of the cross and even had holy water to splash at the incubus. This seemed to lessen the intensity and length of the attacks, but the incubus still visited her nightly.
Next came the exorcism of the incubus demon. Molly's priest and the clergymen of the church came one night before Molly was ready to go to sleep. They told her that she would need to go to sleep and then they would be able to perform the exorcism. After Molly fell asleep, the incubus showed up to attack her again but this time the church was there to witness the attack. They saw how Molly moved as though she were being molested by someone, but that someone could not be seen. Her body foughtagainst the torture she was being subjected to, but that did not cause the actions to cease. The priest and his clergy began to perform the exorcism and Molly's body immediately fell limp.
For months, Molly was not visited by the incubus demon. She thought that she was finally rid of the demon, but then it all started back up again. She finally couldn't handle it anymore and took the next piece of advice and moved away. She didn't stop to tell anyone, but one night just packed all of her things and was gone the next day. As soon as she got far away, the first thing that she did was stop into the church of her new town. She told them her whole story and asked them why nothing had worked for her. They said that not everyone is different so it may take time to find what works for her. They suggested to her a regimen of prayer and fasting to rid herself of the incubus demon. For years Molly fasted and prayed several times each day. Molly was still visited by the incubus, but the incidents started to occur less and less frequently. Soon the visits ceased all together. Molly was so thankful to her new church for helping her. She kept up her routine and actually was able to become a nun of the church. Now Molly dedicated her life to helping women like her to seek help from the visits at night by the incubus demon.
