Guidance
As you organize the information you learn into a concept map, it may be helpful to consider these questions:
- What is the theme of the poem?
- Do you recognize any poetic devices in the poem?
- How do the poetic devices demonstrate the poem's meaning?
- What is your personal reaction?
- What ties the writer to the poem? How can you tell it is written by him/her?
If you'd like, you can look at this example of a completed concept map to help you out. This concept map is an analysis of Rima LIII by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. This map will open in a new window.
With the completion of your concept map, let's conclude our lesson!
