My name is Reema Patel and I am a Finance Major. I am originally from Streamwood, Illinois and I previously had attended DePaul University in Chicago. I got married in June of 2008 and moved to Oklahoma because my husband is a Family Medicine Resident at OU Health Sciences Center. If any of you are sick, you should go and see him. Our move to Oklahoma was definitely a big adjustment but I am growing to like Oklahoma more and more each day. One of my favorite hobbies is watching movies and the Warren Moore Theater is one of the best I have ever seen! I love getting balcony seats and then enjoying food, drinks, and relaxing in those comfortable seats. The surround sound system they have there is out of this world! Another thing that I love to do is catch up with my family and friends on Facebook. If you have not used it, you should sign up!

For winter vacation, I went back home to Chicago to visit friends and family. I went to a New Years Eve party in downtown Chicago at a friend's apartment (we were all trying to be economical this year!). The weather was pretty much tame throughout my trip until this past Saturday when we flew back to Oklahoma. There was already 6 inches of snow on the ground with more continuing to fall throughout the entire day. I was scared that our flight would be cancelled, but somehow we made it home. 58 degrees might seem cold in Oklahoma, but it sure beats the 22 degree weather that we had everyday in Chicago.
