Hello, I am Cris Richardson, a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma School of Information and Library Studies and also an employee of the Tulsa City County Library System. This Web page is to complete a course requirement, but, more importantly, this page will serve as my resume and portfolio.

Assist customers in the location of needed
library materials; respond to customers' requests for information, conducting research, providing answers, or making referrals; instruct customers in the use of library resources and equipment; teach all Internet and computer classes; serve as PCPro, a trained staff person at each location who troubleshoots, PC's, printers, network, software, etc.; plan and implement storytimes for preschoolers; plan and implement programming for school-age children; prepare bulletin boards and displays; promote children's programming by press releases to the local papers, periodically coordinating photo shoots, making school and daycare visits, speaking to community groups, conducting special storytimes, and promoting the library through other media as requested; plan and implement summer programming for preschoolers and school-age children; process reserves, interlibrary loan requests, and other assigned duties. 02/97 - present
