There are many reasons why people do the things they do in life. My reason for succeeding is not break any mold that society has placed on me, or to bring pride to
my race, or to please everyone around me. It is simply because I can. I have had help in learning from many people, but I have learned the most in life from three. One
is my brother, and two are my good friends. Although, I am at a point in my life now when ties may grow thin, I hope they know how much they have meant to me. They
all have pretty much the same attitude towards life, and so my attitude is the same. I do what I want, and if you don't like it, I'm not responsible for your shortcomings. If
your bothered by this statement, then it was meant for you.I'm living in Dallas right now doing a summer internship for Alcatel USA. Alcatel is
one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world. Unfortunately, they don't have much of a marketing campaign in the US. So it's more like, "Who are you
working for?" In the fall however, I will be doing my first co-op with IBM in Clear Lake, just south of Houston. Right now I'm a web developer for Alcatel's intranet. During
the fall I'll be working in the e-business division for IBM. I just started my own business with the help of my fiancee called Generation Web Design. Right now, I'm developing a web site for an
apartment complex here in Dallas and a marketing firm in Puerto Rico. Although I've had to make many hard decisions, I know that they are the right ones, because I'm the one making them.
