This is my car. Four years ago my father and I decided to start restoring this '66 Impala which we had for eight years previously. My father, Roger, is a master technician. We stripped out the car. We put in a 327 from a '65 SS Impala, a 350 turbo transmission from a '71 Impala, performance headers, dual exhaust with a harmonic balancer for the people behind the car to enjoy, electronic ignition instead of points, a four barrel carburetor with electronic choke instead of the manual choke, an alternator instead a generator, chrome valve covers, chrome breathers, chrome air filter, and chrome alternator bracket. We managed to squeeze about 350 horses out of it. The car is very fun to drive, which I do almost every day. I bought it from my father for over $2000 and have paid for most of the restoration.
