Self-Evaluation: Community Profile

Directions:  Once you feel you have finished your draft, PRINT a copy and answer these questions, placing everything in your manila folder including:

·        Interview questions, interview notes, (interview summary)

·        observation notes, (observation analysis)

·        photocopies or originals for all print and internet sources;

·        your peer edit sheet of for your interview questions and final draft

·        one COMPLETE rough draft.

·        This completed sheet

Now, after all of that is completed, answer these questions:

1.         What was the most interesting thing you learned in the course of writing this essay?

Where in the paper do you include this piece of information?

2.         What was the hardest part about this essay?  Be specific.

3.         What was the best part of this unit (an activity, a skill developed, anything!)

4.         What part of the unit would you change if you were the teacher?

5.         How useful was your interview in writing this paper?

6.         How useful was the interview in helping you better understand this discipline?

7.         If you had to give your paper a grade right now, what would it be?  Give two reasons why.
