Regional Offices |
OCLC regional offices offer OCLC information and support to all OCLC member libraries within their region. These regional offices each provide training opportunities on many OCLC-related issues, including interlibrary loan. Your regional office can often answer questions you have about OCLC products and services more quickly than if you contact OCLC directly. Some OCLC regions have reciprocal agreements with other regions, for example, the Amigos and BCR regions have a reciprocal agreement between many of their member libraries. The regional offices maintain a list of agreement signers and may often make a list of the library symbols available to simplify the process of creating custom holdings groups. In addition, regional offices may provide additional services, such as the Trans-Amigos courier, which offers expedited courier service between participating libraries in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. Contact your regional office or check out their web site for information about what they have to offer. |
