"Behold! Ye nonbelievers and forgetful mongrels! Vishnu is upon us and the end is nigh! Do you remember his works? Have you not heard of the gods that have made, and rule everything you know in your lives? They are real and soon you will know the truth for the Truth and Time will take their hammers of Justice and smash you into Knowing.
I will tell you all of Vishnu's works, of the omnipresent Narasimha, of the beautiful and cunning Mohini, and of the god-child Krishna and his brother Balarama whom we all love. Soon Vishnu will come as Kalki to put an end to this Yuga. Come, and let us here the stories of Vishnu, and let us meditate on his avatars. They will show us the power and shine light on what is to come. The time for evil is done. Those who believe the ancient rituals are just superstitions will soon see their grave mistake and pay. We all must seek the truth before it is too late."

As the vagrant spoke these words the people looked upon him in disbelief. Some spat at his feet, others jeered, most ignored. Little did they know however, that the words this man spoke were not his, but those of the gods. The divine words which are complete truth. They could not hear the soft music of Narada that accompanied these words, because they did not posses the ability of listening.  The Vagrant gathered his belongings and sat down on the side of the streets. The bright lights of city reflected in his eyes and contrasted his tattered, ancient robes. He closed his eyes and began to hum a soft tune.

The year was 400,000 A.D. The end of the Kali Yuga, the last of the four great ages, was quickly coming to an end. It was said that at the end of the Kali Yuga, Kalki, the final avatar of Vishnu, would be born among the people, and put an end to the world. The destruction at the end of the Kali Yuga is necessary for the universe to be reborn into a new age, the Satya Yuga. The Satya Yuga is a time of bliss, where everyone lives in righteousness and everyone knows the gods well. There is no hate or death or murder. The universe decays however into the Treta, and Dvapara Yugas where the gods are not recognized. In these worlds people live shorter, less fulfilled lives. In the Kali Yuga, these times are the worst and no god is known. People only know greed, hate, loss and suffering.

Not a human soul on the crowded street suspected a thing.  A few remembered stories their great aunts and uncles had told them as children. Some of the history of myth classes they had attended happened to pass on limited information. They had no idea, however, the impact and reality of the stories and what they really meant.  A few stories however have been passed by various means down over the centuries. These tales were passed on, so that a few would know the truth.  The people were told that one day a little man would approach the town square, leading a white horse...

Listen to the Vagrant as he guides you through the lives of Vishnu.  He will give you some understanding of the Supreme Being before you, too, will know what it means to see the end of this world. Behold the glorious nature of Vishnu. Come and enter his world which has been forgotten and forsaken by the heathen crowds, and rejoice that you might endure some solace at the end of days.
