Hello! My name is Mary Thornton. I am from Cleveland, OK and will
graduate from the University of Oklahoma in May 2009. I am
majoring in English Literary and Cultural Studies and have a minor in
History. I plan to go to law school after I graduate and focus on
American Indian and Environmental law. I want to work with tribes
throughout the country to help protect their sovereign lands and
environmental interests. I am a past president of the American
Indian Student Association and the current treasurer. I am the
current president of Gamma Delta Pi American Indian Sisterhood.
I've had an amazing time at OU, but can't wait to graduate and start
the next chapter of my life.
One of my favorite websites is The
Huffington Post.
