Noah Concluded

The rain
increased and the water overcame the earth. The waters rose and
rose until only the tip-tops of the highest mountains were above the
water line. The waters that were brought upon the earth reached
far into the heavens. All animals that were once on the earth
were now dead and gone. All birds were killed, all mammals were
killed and everything that moved and breathed air where deceased even
human-kind. Every living thing that once lived on land was now
gone. Dead.
Noah and his band were tossed to and fro in their overladen
vessel. Noah and his family were in continuous prayer and fasting
as they listened for instructions and assurance from the Lord.
Noah and his family and troupe sailed the flood waters for many days
and many nights and still did not give up hope.
The Lord had brought down this foriegn force of water and He was
responsible for the deaths of all animals and mankind. He erased
his original creations all except Noah and his family. The only
animal that was saved were the animals that were now riding the waves
with Noah. The waters rose upon the earth for near five months
and the waters rose higher now than the peaks of the tallest mountains.
After the Lord brought his wrath upon mankind and the earth he
was reminded of Noah. The Lord heard Noah's prayers and He caused
the wind to once again bring life upon the earth, causing the waters to
subside and eventually start to retreat back to their origins.
All this Noah witnessed with a joyous feeling. His
faithfulness had finally paid off and Noah began to beleive that things
were really gonna be allright.
On about the seventh month the ark beached on the top of a
mountain. The ark was no longer at the mercy of the flood but their was
still no sight of land and that began to worry Noah. On the tenth
month the wind and sun had dried enough of the earth so that Noah and
his family could now see the tops of the mountains. And as you
can imagine this was a huge boost of confidence for the stranded
occupants of the ark.
Noah decided that it was time to see if maybe other parts of the
earth had also dried. He went to the window and opened it sending
a raven out into the abyss to find some sign of land. The raven
flew over the vast oceans, going south, going north, going east, going
west, till the water abated from the soil of the earth.
Next Noah sent out a dove to see if the water was totally evaporated
and the dove came flying back finding no place to land.
Noah then waited a while longer and after a week he again sent out the
dove from the ark's window. The dove again went looking for a
place to perch. After some hours their was a pecking on the
window. Noah looked out and lo and behold their was the dove
outside the window with an olive branch in its beak. Noah again
waited a few days and for the third time he sent the dove to find
land. This time the dove did not return. Noah now knew that
it was safe to disembark from his ark and that the waters had
receded. If trees and life were out there Noah felt it was time
to repopulate the earth in the Lord's name.
Noah and his sons started the long task of unsealing the
ark. First Noah lifted up the cover of the ark and sure enough
the land was dry just as it had been before the onslaught of the
rains. The the Lord spoke to Noah saying "Go ye therefore out of
the ark and repopulate the earth and release all the creatures that
have been saved on the ark. For they are free to roam and
multiply throughout the whole of the earth. Every beast, every
insect, and every other animal that hath been saved." . With this
Noah and his sons released the herds of animals that had been cooped up
for many days and nights and they gathered their belongings and
families and left the ark sitting there on the peak of the mountain now
known as Mount Ararat.
