Great schools don't have to be big. Though small in size, USTC is one of the top universities in China.
I had been a graduate student and research assistant at USTC for three years. My major area, Physics, ranked within top 3 in the nation.
I worked in the Structure Research Lab. of the Chinese Acadamy of Science.

Our group researched the special and interesting fractal properties of metal-semiconductor films. The main equipment we used was a JEOL high-resolution microscope -- one of the most expensive and powerful in the whole nation at that time. It was sure more than exciting to take pictures at atom-level.
Later I finished my program and received a degree of Master of Science in Physics.
I was also the first prize winner of graduate students "Men's 100m dashing". My score was 12.2".
