Welcome to the Chicago-Style Tutorial!
The purpose of this tutorial is to learn the basics of the University of Oklahoma SLIS / KM preferred documentation style, the Chicago Manual of Style. Like a good pizza, citations require certain elements arranged in a specific order. Pizza has crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings while citations have author, title, date of publication, etc. The pizza metaphor has several purposes: it is memorable, catchy, fun with pleasant associations, and recognizable to most people. We want you to learn a little about Chicago Manual of Style, and we hope you have some fun in the process.
