Hi, I am Yanfen, a PhD student in Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering at The University of Oklahoma . My adviser is Dean S. Oliver, a very nice and knowledgeable professor. In 2006 fall, I joined in OUCEM (OU Consortium on Ensemble Methods). My current research interests lie in history matching (how to integrate data from different disciplines to solve inverse problem in reservoir characterization).
Previously, I was an undergraduate student at Daqing Petroleum Institute which is a good university in terms of culturing petroleum engineers in China. I had a wonderful four years life there.
